It is mandatory that each player wears a black helmet for the EMHA season. Goalies may wear their current moulded headgear regardless of colour. DRESS CODE Each team will implement a dress code for all games and Chief functions. We are very proud of our players, as in the past years, the players have always represented Elgin Middlesex Hockey Association with pride. Your team may wish to purchase coats, wind suits, hats, etc with the EMHA logo – ‘CHIEFS’. The logo needs to be the official logo not a copy. If any part of the dress code is mandatory, it will need to be included in the team’s budget. Whatever your team decides, the cost is the responsibility of each player.

Each team with a non-parent Head Coach shall reimburse the non-parent Head Coach one room per night per tournament provided that the majority of the team is staying at the hotel. EMHA shall compensate the non-parent Head Coaches mileage – amount to be set by the Board of Administration.

Coaches are required to submit a “Draft Budget” with all costs over and above registration to the Treasurer or Assistant Treasurer prior to August 31st 2019. A Team Parent Meeting is to take place no later than September 1st 2019. Parents will have 24 hours after the team meeting to email the Treasurer or Assistant Treasurer with any team budget issues/concerns they may have, otherwise coaches will be made aware they have the 2/3 vote of approval by the team parents on their team budget. If teams do not have the 2/3 vote of approval, coaches will have to revise and present to their team again within 48 hours.  Team fees INCLUDE mandatory fundraising but not voluntary fundraising. Team Fees should include OHF’s etc. Team fees are non-refundable.
